Momentum Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented Officer Finance having M.Com/MBA/ACCA Finalist/CIMA Finalist or equivalent certification in finance/accounts along with 2-3 years of relevant experience in a company, preferably in the logistics sector to manage financial operations with a focus on accuracy and compliance. In this position, the Officer Finance handles critical financial tasks including timely vendor payments, vendor ledger reconciliations, and accurate entries into the ERP system. The role requires coordination with banks for foreign remittances and the monthly closing of financial books to ensure that company records reflect true and fair financial positions. This position demands solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with financial practices and procedures. The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience in finance or accounting functions. They apply accounting standards consistently and possess sound knowledge of budgeting, cash flow management, and general ledger maintenance. While this role does not include managing a team, it requires strong collaboration with internal departments and external financial institutions to maintain smooth financial operations and support the company’s financial health at Interloop Holdings.


Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely payments of both international and local vendors following company policies.
  • Perform regular reconciliation of vendor ledgers to maintain accurate records.
  • Enter all financial transactions accurately into the ERP system to keep records up to date.
  • Coordinate with banking partners to process foreign currency remittances efficiently and securely.
  • Manage the monthly financial book closing process by verifying all accounts and ensuring completeness.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal financial controls.
  • Monitor cash flow activities to support effective liquidity management for the organization.
  • Prepare and assist with financial reporting as required by management or regulatory bodies.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing data and analysis.
  • Maintain and update the general ledger, resolving discrepancies when they arise.
  • Apply organizational and accounting skills to improve financial procedures and reporting accuracy.
  • Work collaboratively within the finance team without managerial responsibilities to meet company goals.
