Momentum Logistics is seeking an experienced Operations Executive having Bachelor’s degree with at least 3-5 years of experience in local market for vehicle sourcing, relationship with known Asset Owners and reliable brokers.. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing transportation and logistics operations by developing and maintaining strong relationships with key transporters. This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with transporters, ensuring smooth daily operations and meeting assigned targets. The Operations Executive will be responsible for updating customers on the status of in-transit vehicles, facilitating timely deliveries, and generating business leads by exploring new market opportunities. This role involves working closely with vendors, drivers, and internal teams to ensure operational efficiency. The candidate must be proficient in managing vendor ledgers and liaising with drivers to track vehicle locations daily. Providing necessary documentation such as bilties and container seals to drivers and collecting proof of delivery forms will be part of the job. The role demands familiarity with port and transport operations, combined with strong sales and marketing experience to help expand the business. Although this position does not include team management responsibilities, it requires proactive coordination across multiple stakeholders to achieve organizational goals.


Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key transporters to achieve daily assigned targets.
  • Update customers regularly on the status of in-transit vehicles and provide accurate expected time of arrivals (ETAs).
  • Explore and introduce market leads in the open cash market to generate “TO PAY” business opportunities.
  • Maintain vendor ledgers related to order executions and cross-verify vendor Statements of Account on a monthly basis.
  • Onboard asset owners to reduce dependency on the open market and strengthen vendor partnerships.
  • Coordinate with drivers by tracking vehicle whereabouts daily and report updates to the operations lead.
  • Provide drivers with necessary bilties and container seals and ensure the collection of proof of delivery documents when required.
  • Utilize knowledge of port and transport operations to streamline processes and optimize logistics performance.
  • Apply strong sales and marketing skills to assist in growing the transport business effectively.
  • Use computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office, to document, report, and communicate operational data efficiently.
