Momentum Logistics seeks a dedicated and proactive Assistant Manager for Sales and Operations to enhance its logistics and transportation business. This role requires a bachelor's degree and 3 to 5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, freight, or supply chain sectors. The successful candidate will focus on identifying and developing new customer relationships within corporate, industrial, importer/exporter, and logistics segments. By understanding customer needs and preparing competitive freight quotations, this individual will drive business growth and achieve sales targets without managing a team. The role demands strong business development and operational skills to maintain a robust sales pipeline and develop long-term client partnerships. The Assistant Manager will also play a vital role in overseeing transportation and logistics operations by ensuring vehicle availability, resolving service-related issues, and coordinating with billing and finance teams to support smooth invoicing and payment recovery processes. Monitoring trip profitability and preparing management reports are key aspects of the job, enabling timely insights into business trends and operational exceptions. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills are essential to successfully manage daily operations and support the overall strategic objectives of Momentum Logistics.


Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new customers within corporate, industrial, importer/exporter, and logistics segments to expand Interloop Holdings market presence.
  • Generate qualified leads, arrange meetings, and convert prospects into consistent business opportunities.
  • Comprehend customer requirements and prepare competitive freight quotations tailored to their needs.
  • Negotiate rates and commercial terms within approved limits to secure favorable agreements.
  • Maintain a healthy and active sales pipeline to consistently achieve or exceed monthly revenue and target goals.
  • Develop and nurture long-term client relationships, identifying potential opportunities for additional business growth.
  • Ensure the availability of appropriate vehicles by coordinating with the open market and vendor networks.
  • Resolve operational issues such as delays, breakdowns, and other service exceptions swiftly to maintain high service standards.
  • Coordinate with billing and finance teams to ensure timely and accurate invoicing and documentation processing.
  • Follow up with customers regularly to manage outstanding payments and assist in achieving recovery targets.
  • Monitor trip profitability rigorously, highlighting negative margins or exceptional cases for managerial review.
  • Prepare detailed management reports that provide insights into key business trends, operational performance, and exceptions for informed decision-making.
